Rocher is one of the most promising artists of the new generation from Rotterdam. With his distinctive sound, which blends hip-hop, R&B and melodic influences, he manages to translate personal stories into music. His strong stage presence, versatility and artistic vision make him an artist who continues to stand out.

His musical breakthrough came in 2021, when he won both the judges’ and the audience’s choice awards at an online music competition. He made a name for himself that same year with his single Famous, which earned him the title of FunX Artist of the Month in January 2022. This was followed by various releases and collaborations, including the official remix of Klein Jongetje (Als je groot bent) featuring Emms and Tot Laat featuring Bokke8, which spent no fewer than 18 weeks in the Top 30 on Radio SRS in Suriname.

Rocher has now also made his mark on the live scene. Following performances at venues such as Paradiso, Paard and De Block, he headlined a sold-out show at Melkweg in Amsterdam. Shortly afterwards, his debut EP, ACT I: Tranen van Geluk, was released, marking a personal chapter in his musical career.

Five years after Famous, Rocher returns to the very essence of who he is. His new project, ACT II: Written Destiny, centres on his identity. His roots in Rotterdam, his personal development and the dreams that have driven him from the very beginning form the central theme of this new chapter. The project tells the story of an artist who is not only seeking his place in the music world, but above all dares to chart his own course. With the single Starboy, he ushers in a new musical era.

On 12 March 2027, Rocher will bring ACT II: Written Destiny to life at GROUNDS. In the city where his story began, he will take the audience on a musical journey in which his past, present and future come together. Expect a special live show in which music, emotion, dance and storytelling complement one another.
