On Wednesday, January 19, New Grounds participates in the national protest action ‘Hair Salon Theatre’. Rotterdam’s pride and joy, night hairdresser Montie, will set up a pop-up hair salon between 14:00 and 17:00 in our brand new concert hall at the ‘s-Gravendijkwal 58B. Customers can wait for a haircut while enjoying a drink and live music from Michael Prins, Marjolein Meijers, Mayomen and many more.

The national action is an initiative of Sanne Wallis de Vries and Diederik Ebbinge. The goal is to draw attention to the ailing cultural sector that has been closed since December 19.
