Danceable Latin American rhythms, joyful energy and above all a lot of girl power: this is the successful formula Las Hienas are steadily working their way up with. On 6 March, they invite you at GROUNDS to celebrate their EP release and International Women’s Day with them, so get ready for an amazing party!

Las Hienas is a captivating all-women band by eight musicians based in Rotterdam. Since their formation in January 2023, they have been dedicated to creating a powerful countermovement in the music industry, performing the works of female composers as well as their own music. On 6 March 2026, they will release their first EP: Nuestro Mundo (Our World), an ode to freedom and to seeing the world through our own eyes: a way of looking that we choose ourselves, not one that is imposed on us.

Their eclectic musical palette includes Afro-Cuban beats, contemporary salsa, Andean folk, traditional Caribbean rhythms, and the rich influences of Jazz. Las Hienas’ performances are electrifying and full of energy, and have already got audiences dancing in the Netherlands and Germany and at various festivals such as Días Latinos, North Sea Jazz Festival and Karneval der Kulturen (Berlin).
