What began as a spontaneous gathering in a backyard has grown into Chordyard, a platform rooted in house music culture. Built around community, creativity, and connection, Chordyard brings together both established names and emerging talent from across the house and tech house scene.

At Chordyard, the music always comes first. From deep grooves to classic house rhythms, our events reflect the diversity of the scene and the people within it. Each gathering is more than just a party. It is a space where artists and audiences connect, share energy, and grow together.

We focus on creating inclusive and memorable experiences, whether through intimate line ups with local artists or larger showcases featuring internationally respected selectors. Every Chordyard event is a celebration of music, community, and discovery.

Doudou MD

Doudou MD is an underground artist born from Dutch classical singing and Congolese percussion roots. Her mostly vinyl sets are inspired by 90s UK, US, and German house and techno, featuring strong percussion and a spiritual touch. She creates a body-focused, danceable vibe that connects deeply with her audience.

Having developed her craft in Utrecht, Amsterdam, and five years in Berlin shaped by clubs like Berghain, she now brings her refined vision of the ultimate club experience to Rotterdam. Influenced by artists such as Zip, Roman Flügel, Paul Johnson, and Mr. G, Doudou MD believes in the healing power of music and aims to make each set a unique, engaging conversation with the crowd.

Juliana X

Juliana X is a powerful new voice in electronic music, blending her Afro-Brazilian and Nigerian roots into a unique underground house sound. Born in Brazil and raised in the Netherlands, she moved to Rotterdam in 2020 to pursue her career. Before that, she was active in Leeuwarden’s LGBTQI+ scene, creating inclusive spaces and founding Kult Funktion, a platform supporting underrepresented artists.

Her music combines gritty basslines, acid layers, and hip-hop energy with emotional, nostalgic vibes. Juliana has performed at major festivals and clubs, turning every set into a space of freedom and connection. On October 24th, 2025, she opened for Honey Dijon at Amsterdam’s Nieuwe Kerk during ADE, marking a significant moment in her rising career.
