Like every year, we’re teaming up with the Stichting Cultureel Centrum Capoeiraschool to celebrate the colorful Baile de Carnaval Giramundo, which literally means “the world revolves.” A global celebration where everyone is welcome. An evening where worries are forgotten, and the diversity of Rotterdam merges into one grand celebration. So put on your finest, cutest or craziest carnival costume and come party with us!

And we have another reason to celebrate. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of Capoeira School Berimbau de Ouro & Kriya Família in Rotterdam, and all the wonderful friendships that have been formed over the years. It promises to be a wonderful day with special workshops, but there’s more! Kriya Família will get you dancing with fun and relaxed traditional Brazilian rhythms, and the Capoeira School BdO will put on a fantastic capoeira show. Next to that, there will also be a fun programme for the children.
