Lab Grounds proudly presents: The Playgrounds Sessions! This summer, we will open our cosy garden again and every two weeks we will serve you the best live music, the tastiest food and the coldest drinks to create an amazing evening together. Each session, we invite a couple of artists who will take you on a musical journey into their wonderful world.

Z3V
Z3V was born and raised in Rotterdam. This manifests above all on stage, as the vibrant heart of this beautiful city has a great influence on his music and creativity. With influences from funk, indie, folk as well as hip hop and his songwriting heavily inspired by the poetic qualities of artists like Spinvis and Eefje de Visser, he serves the ideal soundtrack for you to daydream. As final project for his Master of Music at HKU, he wrote, produced and recorded his EP entirely by himself. Besides his practising side, Z3V is also a graduate musicologist which gives his projects extra depth.
NEFLELI
NEFLELI is a music producer, composer, songwriter, and vocalist, who draws inspiration from both personal moments and fictional stories. Her music is hard to pigeonhole, as she refuses to stay within on genre. Even her unique voice is a playground: whispering one moment, rapping the next, often breaking away from the body that sings it. In 2022, she has released her debut album “i breathe”, featuring original lyrics and production. Some of the artists she admires include James Blake, Rosalía, Billie Eilish, Stromae and Radiohead.
