BARTENDER (ON-CALL)
When entering, visitors like to get a drink to start the evening. Besides the cashier, you are one of the first employees a visitor meets. So a friendly, open attitude is a must. The same goes for a proactive attitude! During the concert, walk around and pick up empty glasses and/or cups and ensure a nice concert experience for the visitors.
What we are looking for:

– Bar experience is an advantage

LIGHT ENGINEER (ON-CALL)
What we are looking for:
– Excellent knowledge and experience with building and operating lighting systems
– Experience as a stagehand
– A sense of responsibility to ensure that an event runs smoothly, both technically and in terms of decor, look & feel
– A responsible and safe way of working as a starting point
– Knowledge of and experience with rigging is an advantage.

When you become our colleague, you will not work for 1 but 2 venues! Grounds is a stage where groundbreaking, emerging and well-known (inter)national musicians and bands in a wide variety of music styles are performing. With weekly concerts, Grounds is the place where the biggest names in the scene can be seen live and where new music can be discovered at the same time. Besides programming live music, Grounds wants to contribute to the cultural climate in Delfshaven by providing a stage for local talent and bringing music to the neighborhood by organizing or actively participating in open-air neighborhood events. The venue, located on Coolhaveneiland, has a capacity of 300 standing places.
New Grounds is our new stage and is still in a building phase, which makes it extra fun. It is a stage where visitors get and give music. With various concerts of the most diverse genres, the audience is surprised every time again. Besides that, New Grounds also organizes jam sessions in various genres, so musicians have a place to play and share their talents with the visitors of the event. This makes New Grounds a special place, where everyone feels welcome. The brand new venue, located in the Old West, has a capacity of 125 standing places.
