Ticketing / cashier

Would you like to work in Rotterdam, where culture, creativity, and music come together? And would you like to do this as part of a great team? Then apply now!

The focus is on welcoming our visitors. As a cashier, you are the first point of contact for our visitors, which means you welcome them with a big smile. You talk to visitors and ensure that Grounds is a safe and welcoming place. Your tasks include selling and scanning tickets and working in the cloakroom. You make sure you are familiar with our program so that you can inform visitors when necessary.

What we are looking for:

  • You are helpful, naturally hospitable, and able to work under pressure.
  • You keep a cool head during busy moments.
  • An affinity with the cultural sector is an advantage.
  • You are flexible, especially in the evenings. At Grounds, events are mainly on weekends, but at Lab Grounds we also have events during the week.
  • You live in Rotterdam.
  • You are at least 18 years old.

What we offer:

  • A lot of variety in your job, because every event is different with a different audience.
  • A fun and diverse team to work with.
  • Flexibility in terms of availability and scheduling.
  • We offer room to contribute creatively to our second stage, Lab Grounds, which is still in the development phase.
  • A zero-hour contract (fixed hours are negotiable), compensation in accordance with the CAO Poppodia en Festivals (Collective Labor Agreement for Music Venues and Festivals) or on a self-employed basis.

Employment contracts and working hours:
The number of hours depends on the number of events. We have a busy schedule in the fall and spring, but we take a break in the summer months (July and August) and there are few events during that time.
