On 24 November, the finalists of the international UD Concours join Codarts Global Musics students for a special evening at Grounds.

Following the competition’s Grand Final in Amsterdam, the finalists bring their music to Rotterdam to share the stage with our students.

Working with Iranian ud and barbat player and researcher Negar Bouban, Global Musics students explore instruments from the ud family and related instruments along the Silk Roads. The concert brings together different musical traditions and approaches, celebrating the many sounds of this family of instruments.
