World Sessions & GROUNDS present: The music of Los Van Van

This edition, we celebrate the music of the legendary Cuban band Los Van Van. Bring your dancing shoes, because their unique fusion of charanga, timba, and songo will transport you straight to Cuba!

This special tribute features a line-up of well-known musicians from the salsa and timba scene, alongside emerging young talents. Led by pianist Marc Bischoff, they will bring the iconic music of Los Van Van to life.

There will be a jamsession after the set, so bring your instrument!

World Sessions: a series of unique concerts exploring different World Music genres.

Each session, we pair young talent and well-known names from the scene, challenging them to create a special performance for the evening. Following the concert, there will be a jam session providing other musicians the opportunity to showcase their skills on stage and network in the World Music scene.
