MEGA is that rare artist whose voice and songwriting seems to connect with our very souls. Her music is a vivid tapestry of influences, drawing from her Ugandan heritage, childhood experiences in choirs, and love of broad spectrum of genres including soul, pop, indie. Performing on stage is a second nature to MEGA, so don’t miss out this unique opportunity to hear one of the UK’s most exciting voices at GROUNDS.

With a big voice, big heart and big songs that explore vulnerability, self-realisation and empowerment, the vocalist and songwriter is here to make her mark. The British-Ugandan artist’s fourth EP, I Am Enough, is a stunning and assured work that urges us to reclaim our power, and to step into life with a renewed sense of purpose. Each of the 5 songs are praised for their mix of traditional African rhythms, empowering messages, and themes of mental resilience, with single My Bones as the EP centrepiece.

Recently, MEGA headlined the Southbank Centre’s Meltdown Festival curated by Little Simz, sharing the stage with artists such as Ghetts, Jon Batiste, Lola Young, Sasha Keable, and The Streets. Having also performed at some of the UK and Europe’s most notable festivals including Reading & Leeds Festival, Cross The Tracks, Latitude and Montreux Jazz Festival, she is now ready to conquer GROUNDS with her collective empowerment.
