Parker Millsap is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music seamlessly blends blues, country, rock, Americana, and folk. With his captivating live performances, raw vocals and soulful sound, he enchants the audience. Even to that extent that he restored Elton John’s faith in music.

Born and raised in Purcell, Oklahoma, a tiny town with a huge sky, Millsap learned early on how to express gratitude through song while playing gospel in the church band. At the same time, he also became fascinated by the honest lyrics of Townes Van Zandt, the fingerpicking of Mississippi John Hurt, and classic albums like Graceland and Rumours. Millsap’s early career recordings displayed these influences through character-driven storytelling and minimalist instrumentation. Be Here Instead (2021) shows a glimpse of his wild side while exploring newer, more personal songs. And his newest album, Wilderness Within You, is a natural step in Parker’s evolution which interweaves threads of his musical past and newer influences to gorgeous effect.
