Danceable Latin American rhythms, joyful energy and above all a lot of girl power: this is the successful formula Las Hienas are steadily working their way up with. On 28 June, they will play another ‘home game’ at GROUNDS, so get ready for an amazing party!

Las Hienas is a captivating all-women band by eight musicians based in Rotterdam. Since their formation in January 2023, they have been dedicated to creating a powerful countermovement in the music industry, performing the works of female composers as well as their own music. Currently they are working towards an EP.

Their eclectic musical palette includes Afro-Cuban beats, contemporary salsa, Andean folk, traditional Caribbean rhythms, and the rich influences of Jazz. Las Hienas’ performances are electrifying and full of energy, which have already been presented to different audiences in The Netherlands and Germany and different festivals such as Días Latinos, North Sea Jazz Festival and Karneval der Kulturen (Berlin).
